The Business Analyst meets with the client and analyzes the economic and business aspects of the company’s operations by reviewing and analyzing financial statements. After understanding the business operations from an economic, finance and accounting perspective, the Business Analyst, delves into the client’s project objective to determine what the client hopes to accomplish.

  • Analyzing client’s business operations and project objectives

Job summary

SPEROTECK is looking for an eCommerce Project Manager to join their award winning eCommerce team reporting into Head of eCommerce Projects. The purpose of the role is to manage multiple complex eCommerce projects from the scoping stage through to delivery. You will liaise closely with the client updating them on the progress of work while overseeing a team of on-site and offshore information architects, designers, developers and testers executing the work. Your dedication to ensuring work only of the highest standard is delivered on time and within budget is pivotal to both the success of the client and SPEROTECK.

Essential functions and responsibilities
  • Manage multiple complex projects
  • Work with team leads to scope complex projects and ensure buy in from them
  • Liaise closely with the client, including taking briefs and providing status reports
  • Creates and executes project work plans and timelines and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Create and own project budgets
  • Identify resources needed and works with all agency functions to assign individual responsibilities
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope

Job summary

The Senior Technical Architect interprets client requirements, business processes, and use cases to produce quality technical designs. The Technical Architect provides guidance and oversight for the development team to ensure that both the process followed and the solution that is delivered is consistent with Speroteck development policies and standards.

Essential functions and responsibilities
  • Senior Technical Architect Essential Functions
    • Facilitate client requirements gathering sessions with external and internal stakeholders; documenting those requirements into use cases, activity diagrams and functional specifications.
    • Provides technical leadership to the team by collaborating and by mentoring team members and leading internal initiatives as required.

    • Leads the technical requirements definition during discovery meetings with the client team.
    • Defines and documents project technical requirements.
    • Defines and documents project technical requirements.
    • Performs analysis and review of licensing/development estimates to maintain budget integrity.
    • Manages technical risk related to complexity, data integration, scalability, and performance.
    • Creates work estimates and documents assumptions to provide a solid foundation for proposals and change control.
    • Provides guidance and oversight to development teams to ensure that the SPEROTECK delivery and development process, policies and standards are being followed.
    • Escalates any observed non-compliance with SPEROTECK delivery process to their manager.
    • Research and qualify software solutions to be implemented on a project (e.g. Extensions, LINK Cartridges, third-party OMS systems, analytics engines etc.) and provide software recommendations and estimates that meet project budgetary and functional requirements.
    • Prototypes solutions when necessary to validate that an approach will meet the customer’s business requirements.
    • Defines the implementation and coding approach for customizations, interfaces, system architecture, data flow and data architecture/data model. Provides quality documentation to the development team for executing on this direction.
    • Ensures the integrity and quality of a project’s code by monitoring compliance with SPEROTECK coding standards and coaching team members on the application of these standards.
    • Estimate the hours required to execute development tasks, and immediately inform the PM of any risks or roadblocks identified with the project.
    • Plan development sprints with the Technical Lead (TL) and PM, and participate in daily scrum calls.
    • Compiles necessary documentation to explain technical approach to a client and a PM/BA/IA/Creative and QA in addition to development team members.
    • If trainer is not available, can conduct the demo/training of a platform to a client.
    • Reviews Xd produced designs and wireframes and provides guidance to Xd team on any inadvertent customizations that can be avoided or executed via different route.
    • If the Team Lead (TL) is not available, provides coverage for activities normally performed by the TL to minimize impact to the project timeline and budget.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Education, training, and experience

Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in business, economics or computer science.

Experience: 10 years of Technical Architecture experience. Extensive Ecommerce project experience across a diverse set of (minimum of 5) projects with exposure to different ERP/OMS/Fulfillment systems and integrations.
