The platform includes online store creation, search engine optimization, hosting, marketing, and security for small to Enterprise sized business. BigCommerce does not charge transaction fees, however, it places limits on your annual online sales.
There are several options to choose from: Standard at $39/mo., Plus at $105/mo., Pro at $399/mo. and Enterprise plans with pricing based on a customers’ online sales.
Big commerce is best for online-only sellers with very large inventories, such as B2B or wholesalers. It provides 170 themes in total, most of them have up to four styling options. The cost for a theme is between $150 and $300, but there are 15 free themes.
Shopify is a complete commerce platform that lets you start, grow, and manage a business. Three plans to choose from: Basic at $39/month, Shopify at $105/month and Advanced at $399/month. What you get: templates for the look and feel of your store, tools to sell in multiple places online and in-person, integrated payment processing, the best-converting checkout on the internet, SEO and marketing tools – these are all part of core product. Shopify offers 80 themes in total, nine of which are free. The rest will cost you a one-time fee ranging between $140 – $180.
