Our recent charity events
Date
Our company actively participates in various charity events, helps foundations. And these two months did not pass without small victories, saved lives and joyful smiles.
Every year on the International Childhood Cancer Day, we organize an auction with lots to attract as many people as possible and collect donations for children. This year we have prepared unusual, but very practical lots that can be used regardless of where you are: both in Ukraine and abroad.
We tried to collect a selection of online subscriptions and certificates, diverse in directions and preferences, so everyone was able to choose something interesting and useful for themselves.
All the funds we collected were doubled by the management and we transferred these funds to the EVUM charity fund for the purchase of medicines and consumables for children with cancer, who are currently undergoing treatment in the oncology and hematology departments of hospitals in Chernihiv and Lviv.
We have been walking side by side with the EVUM Foundation for many years, but we have never talked about how the foundation lives, who is its driving force, and how volunteers cope with everything.
EVUM has its own rules and traditions. For instance, washing hands before contacting a child, do NOT discuss war issues in a child’s presence. Some rules have become an unwritten tradition. When children paint something or draw, we do not have black paint and never will. We remove it when we receive or buy children’s sets.
Why? Because black is not a color. Black is the absence of light. And it has become a stupid tone for us to have something black in the department.
Maybe some things have become too superstitious, but all this is because our team has been dealing with this for 15 years. During this time, everything and everyone has changed. But just not what we all strive for.
When we talk about EVUM, it is always about people who are ready to give and do not expect anything in return. EVUM is a patient organization and among us there are people who have gone through oncology with their children and, unfortunately, not all of them were able to come out without losses. As the years passed, we saw real battles, even where there was no hope of salvation.
Each of these people in the photo carries their own part of the work and we are grateful to them for everything they have done for us and the children.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank everyone who takes part in lotteries, charity events and simply does not pass by when help is so needed. Your kindness and generosity make the world a better place for children with cancer!
