Christmas and New Year’s miracles are among us, they happen if we believe in them and make certain efforts! Each of us can help make such a miracle happen with our own hands and become a real good wizard and Santa Claus for someone.
Today we want to share with you another Success Story: the story of one family living in a destroyed village of Gorenka, Kyiv region.
Ilya Molostov is our developer, one of the organizers of the aid project in the village of Gorenka, Kyiv region.
In this village, 446 residential buildings were completely destroyed since the beginning of the invasion. Ilya, together with a group of caring volunteers, clears rubble after shelling, helps with the insulation of houses and with the connection of installed temporary modular houses to communications, helps to restore buildings that survived.
Ilya asked our company to help a family that was left without a home in that village.
A woman, Hanna, 9 months pregnant, her son and her husband, who has sore legs, her mother and grandmother lived together in this house until a missile destroyed it.
The war took away everything from the family, but not faith in the best.
The most urgent was the need for a pumping station and sewage system, as well as for the insulation of a temporary extension, because winter had already come and it was very cold.
Moreover, all processes had to be started in an accelerated mode, since Hanna was already due to give birth in two weeks.
With the first charity funds collected, the family managed to purchase a water boiler, but that was only the beginning.
Our company helped raise the sum of 80,000 hryvnias for the purchase of the most necessary equipment: BioSeptik (autonomous sewage filtration system), sewage pipes and everything needed for a large family to be able to live with a small child in a modular house in the winter.
Currently, volunteers are laying pipes, installing a concrete ring to house a powerful pump that will supply the home with water and heat.
But another problem arose, the school in the village of Gorenka does not have a bomb shelter, and switched to distance education for students. Therefore, Hanna’s son cannot go to school and is forced to study remotely. Unfortunately, during the shelling, the family lost all their possessions, and the child was left without a computer and even without a phone, but the volunteers gave the boy a new laptop, with which he has the opportunity to continue his studies online.
Hanna’s family met Christmas and the New Year already with a replenishment, in a warm house under their own roof, with faith in victory and that everything will be fine.
Together we can do everything, together we are invincible!
